After visiting so many kitchens, I discovered that my true passion wasn’t selling fish, but cooking it“. Agustí Soto.

 

The restaurant Guillermu —with a ‘u’— was born in 2010 as the natural evolution of Hostal Guillermo —with an ‘o’—, a historic and emblematic establishment in the hospitality industry of Sant Antoni, in the heart of the Costa Brava.

At the helm of Guillermu is Agustí Soto, chef and owner, with over twenty-five years dedicated to the world of gastronomy.

Agustí’s professional beginnings were as a fishmonger. After visiting so many kitchens, he discovered that his true passion wasn’t selling fish, but cooking it.

With roots deeply tied to the sea —his father was a fisherman in Palamós—, he trained in various cooking schools.

He perfected his craft and shaped his dream: to offer authentic and quality seafood and Mediterranean cuisine, with local produce as the star.

In addition to his work at the restaurant, Agustí is the president of the collective El Plat Blau. This initiative unites various restaurateurs with the aim of giving visibility to seafood gastronomy and quality local products.

With offerings like the Prawn Menu and the Scampi Menu, Guillermu aims to highlight and enhance the authentic flavors of the sea and the region.

The restaurant has established itself as a benchmark in Sant Antoni, with its presence at various prominent national and international gastronomic forums. And through the initiative of the catering service “Guillermu at home”.

Guillermu is a Local Restaurant where Clients Become Friends.

The team, with members who have been working there for fifteen years, creates a special bond with each client, remembering their preferences, their favorite dishes, and even the small details that make them feel at home.
